Annually the Dubuque County Conservation Board works with over 200 volunteers in various positions. Volunteering can be both rewarding and challenging. It offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around you. Whether it's a hiker taking a photo with their smartphone, a lifelong DSLR-loving photographer, or a child taking a photo for the first time, we want to see the parks through your lens! Show us how much you love the Dubuque County Conservation areas by submitting your photos of them! For the Amateur Photography Show! All submissions will be displayed for a month at the Swiss Valley Nature Center. Additionally, a portion of the photographs will be honored as part of a second display at EB Lyons Nature Center and all will have a chance at winning a prize as described below. Adult: One year pass for the Heritage Trail or a free weekend of camping at a park of your choice. Youth: Choice of one activity at either nature center.
