Dubuque County: 1,041 New Completed Vaccinations, 16 New Positive Individuals, and No New Deaths.

Vaccination Priority Group Update

Last night, the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH), announced that effective Monday, March 8, Iowa vaccine providers can officially begin vaccinating additional priority populations. Individuals 64 years of age and younger with medical conditions that are or may be an increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 are now eligible.

 The Dubuque County Public Health Incident Management Team is working with local healthcare providers today to review this change.  An update on how it will be handled in Dubuque County will be provided as soon as possible.

 Free Transportation to Vaccination Clinics

 Don't let transportation stop you from getting the COVID-19 vaccine! The Dubuque County Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is offering FREE rides to COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Please call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your ride:

Iowa: 30,386 New Completed Vaccinations, 509 New Positive Individuals, and 13 New Deaths.

    (9 more than yesterday)

    * Number of individuals that have received all of the required doses of the COVID-19 vaccine series.
  • Vaccinations Started (1st dose): 10,032**
    **Number of individuals that have received one dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series, but have not completed the series. This category excludes individuals that have completed a COVID-19 vaccine series.
