Increased Risk of Hospitalization or Death

The risk for severe illness with COVID-19 increases with age, with older adults at highest risk.  Other factors can also increase your risk for severe illness, such as having certain underlying medical conditions.

People at increased risk, and those who live or visit with them, need to take precautions to protect themselves from getting COVID-19. Learn more at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/older-adults.html

Stay Vigilant

Yesterday's video update includes an explanation of the difference between quarantine and insolation. For this info and more, watch the video at https://youtu.be/7x2sVCbS7sM

QUARANTINE keeps someone who was in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 away from others.  ISOLATION keeps someone who is sick or tested or tested positive for COVID-19 without symptoms away from others, even in their own home.  View instructions for quarantine and isolation.
