ACTIVE CASES

  • Dubuque County: 3,411 active cases (22 more than yesterday)

DEATHS

  • Dubuque County: No additional deaths. Total deaths to date = 90
  • Iowa: 13 additional deaths. Total deaths to date = 2,205

HOSPITALIZATIONS

  • Dubuque County Residents Hospitalized =  58 as of Nov. 21. (1 less than Nov. 20.)
  • Iowans Currently hospitalized = 1,333 (7 less than yesterday.) 

RECOVERIES 

  • Dubuque County: New recoveries = 35. Total number of recoveries = 5,177
  • Iowa: New recoveries = 501. Total number of recoveries = 116,808

LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY OUTBREAKS

Dubuque County:  4 long-term care facility outbreaks (same as yesterday) with 179 positive cases (same as yesterday), 12 new positive cases in the last 14 days, and 92 recoveries (4 more than yesterday):

  • Dubuque Specialty Care, Dubuque (70 positive cases, 7 in the last 14 days, and 41 recoveries)
  • Luther Manor Communities, Dubuque (82 positive cases, 0 new positive cases in the last 14 days, and 42 recoveries)
  • ManorCare Health Services, Dubuque (14 positive cases, 1 new positive cases in the last 14 days, and 5 recoveries)
  • Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade (13 positive cases, 4 new positive cases in the last 14 days, and 4 recoveries) 

Iowa: 120 outbreaks (1 less than yesterday) with 4,413 positive cases, 1,887 recoveries, and 1,004 deaths to date

TESTING & POSITIVITY RATE (Calculated by IDPH)

Dubuque County:

  • 138 more individuals tested. Total residents tested to date = 42,788
  • Test Positivity Rate: 14-day average = 20.2%, average to date = 20.3%.

Iowa:

  • 5,052 more individuals tested. Total Iowa residents tested to date = 1,167,556
  • Test Positivity Rate: 14-day average = 20.7%, average to date = 18.1%
