Free COVID-19 Testing in Dubuque Next Week
A Test Iowa Clinic will be held in Dubuque from Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26,
at Epic Health and Wellness Clinic, 1075 Cedar Cross Road.
Any Iowan who would like to be tested for COVID-19 at this location must first complete the Test Iowa assessment at www.testiowa.com. They will then be provided an identification number in order to schedule an appointment by calling Epic Health and Wellness at 563-583-6595. You must have an Iowa ID and your identification number in order to be tested.
There is no cost to individuals being tested and any Iowan who wants to be tested can be tested if you follow this procedure. A person does not need to be showing any symptoms.
Appointments must be made for testing and walk-ins are not allowed. Testing at the Epic Health and Wellness site will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

Six New Cases in Dubuque County, 251 New Cases in Iowa
Between 2 p.m. yesterday and 2 p.m. today, the IDPH reported six new positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubuque County, increasing the county total to 411. For the state, 251 additional cases were reported in that same time frame giving Iowa a total of 25,496 positive cases.
No additional deaths were reported in Dubuque County so the county total remains at 22. No additional deaths were reported statewide keeping the state death total at 681.
As of 2 p.m. today, the IDPH website reported that 7,437 Dubuque County residents have been tested, up 99 from yesterday, with a positive test rate of 5.5 percent. 250,566 Iowans have been tested, an increase of 3,806 since yesterday, for a positive test rate of 10.2 percent. One in 13 Dubuque County residents have been tested and one in 13 Iowa residents.
Long-Term Care Facility Outbreaks
According to the IDPH, as of 2 p.m. today there are 32 long-term care facilities in Iowa with COVID-19 outbreaks, the same as yesterday. There is one long-term care facility outbreak in Dubuque County at Dubuque Specialty Care, which has 51 positive cases and 22 recovered cases (no changes from yesterday). Statewide, IDPH is reporting 959 positive cases at long-term care facilities (four more than reported yesterday), 553 recovered (11 more than reported yesterday), and 353 deaths (one less than yesterday). The number of cases and recovered include both residents and staff.
Hospitalizations & Recoveries
As of today, 182 Iowans were hospitalized due to COVID-19, 15 fewer than than yesterday. The number of Dubuque County residents hospitalized is zero, the same as yesterday. Statewide, 15,954 Iowans have recovered (up 173 from yesterday), including 239 Dubuque County residents (four more than yesterday).
