COVID Recovery Iowa

Iowans can access counseling services through the following options:

  • Call 800-447-1985 to connect with a counselor specializing in rural issues and agriculture 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Call the Iowa Warm Line, 844-775-9276, to connect with a peer counselor or request to get in touch with a COVID Recovery Iowa counselor.
  • Visit  the COVID recovery iowa website and complete a contact form and a counselor will get back to you.

Your Life Iowa - 3 Ways to Get Help

The East Central Region now uses Your Life Iowa as the statewide crisis line, making free crisis calls and text available to anyone in Iowa. 

Effective July 1st the Iowa Help Line phone number will roll over to Your Life Iowa. The service remains the same, but with a different number.  Call 1-855-581-8111 or text 855-895-8398.

Your Life Iowa provides free information and referral, counseling, crisis service coordination, and linkages to crisis screening and mental health services 24 hours a day.

Iowa Warm Line

The Warm Line is a peer-run, telephone-based, non-crisis, confidential, listening line for anyone struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues. The Warm Line is staffed by people who have been through a similar journey and are in recovery themselves.
